Other Black Other Black is the name of an ethnicity category used by the Office for National Statistics in the United Kingdom. It is one of three "Black or Black British" ethnicity options used in ONS statistics, alongside Black African and Black Caribbean.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Census 2001 – Ethnicity and religion in England and Wales )〕 According to the 2001 Census, 97,585 UK residents selected the Other Black category to describe their ethnicity. As of 2009, ONS estimates suggested that approximately 124,500 Other Black people are now resident in England.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=Resident population estimates by ethnic group, all persons: May 2011 )〕 In the 1991 Census, the tick-box answer in England, Wales and Scotland was worded "Black-Other" (no ethnicity question was asked in Northern Ireland).
